About Us
Nurses Know is a chemo kit company founded by two highly experienced oncology nurses, Melissa and Liana, based on the Connecticut shore line. With over 30 years of combined experience, they have witnessed first hand the difficulties that cancer patients face. It is their belief that cancer patients deserve gifts that are not only uplifting but also practical. That’s why they created Nurses Know Chemo Kits by Mel.Li (a combination of their names) that provide patients with everything they need to make it through the tough times.
Melissa is an oncology nurse and associate professor with a Master’s degree in Nurse Education while Liana is an OCN, RN (Oncology Certified Nurse, Registered Nurse) and they have been using evidence-based practice to care for cancer patients for many years. They are both passionate about teaching and dedicated to providing patients with the tools and education necessary to battle cancer treatment.
Nurses Know’s mission is to bridge the gap between what patients need and what they receive. They are committed to making a real difference in the lives of those affected by cancer by providing high-quality chemo kits. With Nurses Know, cancer patients can feel confident that they have the knowledge and items needed to help manage chemotherapy side effects.
